Michael Dalton

General Manager

Michael has 23 years insurance experience, specialising in aviation underwriting. With extensive experience writing risks in Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea and the South Pacific he has written policies across the entire aviation industry including airline, manufacturing, airports and general aviation. Mike has held underwriting and management positions at key aviation insurance providers both in the corporate world and in more boutique aviation specialist underwriting agencies and has a strong customer focus. Mike is a licenced pilot holding a Commercial Pilots Licence and RAAus Pilot Certificate in Australia along with an Airline Transport Pilots Licence in the USA. He has held management positions at one of Australia’s largest Aero Clubs as well as holding his own Air Operators Certificate for passenger carrying charter operations. He currently owns and operates a small collection of vintage aircraft and has flown in excess of 50 different general aviation aircraft types.


Tom Laine


Tom boasts a solid background in General Insurance which spans some 18 years. While is early years were in general lines products, he has specialised in the Aviation sector since 2003 holding underwriting positions at key aviation insurance providers.


Matthew Clarkson

Claims Manager

Matt boasts a 30 year career in the insurance/reinsurance industry with a focus on claims management and service. With experience in both underwriting and broking organisations he offers a unique view of the claims process from both sides of the fence. Matt’s background encompasses aviation and non-aviation accounts and has seen him involved with large airline and general aviation accounts, primarily in Europe.Matt has a solid aviation background both as a pilot and aircraft engineer. He started his working career at British Airways and specialised in engines & airframes on types including B707, B747 & Concord, and has held a Private Pilots Licence.
