AGILE Aviation expand its team of specialised aviators with veteran broker joining the team

AGILE Aviation continues to expand with the appointment of aviation broking veteran David Tait to the underwriting team. 

“David has over 10 years as an aviation broker in the family business,” says Mike Dalton, Head of Aviation at AGILE. “He’s also an experienced pilot and holds a Private Pilot’s Licence, UAS RPL and solo glider pilot and joins a team brimming with real-world aviation experience. We’re both lucky and excited to have him join the team.”

The AGILE aviation team love to fly, making them the only local aviation insurer with experience from foot-launched paragliders to heavy airline equipment.

According to Mike Dalton “David brings a wealth of knowledge about the local market and insights into the needs of aviation professionals and enthusiasts. We’ll be tapping into this knowledge to further improve our service to the aviation community.”

With a comprehensive range of products on the Powered by Agile platform, the aviation team at AGILE is able to dedicate time underwriting policies for the more complicated risks. 

David will be based in Brisbane and kick off with the team in mid-October.
